In addition to being our Practice Administrator, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and managing the day-to-day operations of the practice, Tally continues to follow a small number of adult neurology patients and serve as a study coordinator for several of our ongoing neurology clinical research studies.
Before her current position with Neurology Consultants of Kansas, Tally worked as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist in a variety of staff and education positions in special care and intensive care units at Wesley Medical Center. She later joined Via Christi Regional Medical Center, with responsibility for the development and implementation of the Stroke Center and other stroke-related activities. Tally has authored multiple neuroscience and critical care related publications. From 1996 to 1997, she served as the national president of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses. She received an Associate in Nursing from Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering, Ohio, and a BSN, MN, and post-Master’s certificate from Wichita State University. She holds board certifications in multiple sclerosis nursing and as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Outside the practice:
Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, cooking (and eating!), and traveling, especially if it’s to see her grandchildren.
